  It's a really cute, family-run business and the sushi itself fresh and just as described. However, I'm not noticing any difference between nearly ANY sushi joint, so they'll all get 3-STAR ratings unless they go above and beyond.
  
  Sushi Ya was not much different from Sushi City (in Bolingbrook), so how can the ratings be better or worse for sushi if everyone does the same thing a la a fast food operation, albeit with fresh fish and a high-quality experience?
  
  Anyways, minus one star for an incredibly annoying waiter they have that talks and talks and talks to all the patrons, but to a level that verges on ridiculous. Just take an order and move on.

  Great food , but everytime I come here I want the baked avocado fire ball appetizer and they refuse to make it because 'it's a complicated dish'... literally what the waiter told me. If you guys don't want to make what's on your menu then take it off! I am a frequent visitor too. Well WAS.
