  This bank is terrible for running a business. I gave them a shot last year and they are wayyyyyy overly regulated. If you like holds lasting longer than average and more holds on more deposits then this is the bank for you. For 15 years I've ran a business that requires third-party checking deposits and I've had no issues, ever. I moved to Illinois and open account with TCF i've had nothing but problems with them freeing my money up to operate. Tried again this year because I was promised by their bank manager I would not have those issues and they are doing it all over again. To his credit though it's not his fault, as a matter fact the only redeeming quality that TCF has IS their branch manager, Abbas Ali.
  Other than that they are not business friendly, so I'm back with Chase.
  And what CHASE needs to do is start cherry picking these managers up like Abbas to have them in THEIR ranks... great manager, wrong bank. I do 80k in business w/ Chase in 45 days, no issue. I do $1800 ONCE w/ TCF, I can't get my money PERIOD until my client goes TO the bank to verify it is them that signed their check over.
